Location is great, within 10-15 minute's walk of most of the areas of interest, almost all within a 30 minute walk. I was pleased to smell coffee our first morning; I didn't realize they had a Continental breakfast every day. It's simple; bread, cheeses, deli meat, some veggies, hard eggs. Our room was small and basic, but clean with a comfortable bed. Our room had a small sink, which is a plus given the shared bathroom. I really appreciated that the staff helped to favorably resolve a reservation/cancellation issue that b--king.com was no help with.

The place has an excellent location, just around the corner from Hallgrímskirkja and practically 5 minutes from Rainbow Street. Check-in was fast, the room had a little balcony from where we could see the ocean. The room and the bathroom were both really clean. While the bathroom was shared, we had no issues with needing to wait long. The breakfast was good and diverse, a nice way to start the day. We found parking in front of the house. As we get there Friday afternoon, we only need to pay for one hour. It was a good stay and good value for money.

Straight in the middle to reach every point of interest at foot. Hallgrimskirkja is only a five minute walk away. I had a double room just in front of the street. That was a little bit noisy but the room was cosy and modern. There´s a small kitchen and the bathroom ist clean and comfortable. Nothing to complain. I felt very well at this location. Surprisingly at that point of booking my accomodation I found the sculputures of Einar Jónsson nearby this location and I dearly recomment you to visit this sculpture garden.

I had a fantastic stay at this guesthouse! It's perfectly located, close to the main attractions and the bus station, making it easy to explore the area. Despite being so central, the Guesthouse is situated on a quiet street, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The comfortable beds made my stay even more relaxing, and the good breakfast provided in the morning. The highlight, however, was the super nice staff—they were incredibly welcoming and always ready to help with anything I needed. Highly recommend staying here!

We had an issue with our dates on booking.com, but once we were there the staff at Guesthouse Aurora were very helpful in resolving the issue! 10/10! The breakfast at the Guesthouse was also very nice. It was a continental buffet spread with nice fresh bread and toppings. The location near the church was great because it was convenient to walk to everything in downtown Reykjavik, but far enough from the city center that it was easy to find free parking, and it was quiet at night for sleeping with the windows open.
